Job Description

Essential Functions: Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • An exemplary employee - responsible, reliable, and respectful; a person who “sets the example” each and every shift is a Lead Server Trainer.
  • Displays an outstanding attitude with employees and guests.
  • Maintains an excellent work ethic and performance at all times, is flexible and embraces the Flatbread cultural philosophies.
  • Maintains the ability to work closely with management and all employees.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication through email and digital log book.
  • Is knowledgeable in current FOH training materials.
  • Is knowledgeable on all Flatbread policies, procedures, and food presentations.
  • Possesses good organization skills and consistent follow up.
  • Keeper of the culture, respected by the employees.
  • Attends weekly manager meetings.
  • Is the liaison between Management and the staff.
  • Continually develops employees in their store to ensure the restaurant is sustaining excellent service standards. 
  • Ensures consistent follow through with all training materials.
  • Evaluates employee performance and  makes recommendations on coaching, counseling, and discipline of employees
  • Works with management to ensure the highest standards in safety and sanitation.
  • Provides leadership and feedback by aiding in opening and closing side work.
  • Manages and follows up on weekly projects and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for proper cash handling.
  • Screens potential applicants.

Requirements

 

  • Strong organizational and financial skills including knowledge of PC programs to support tasks
  • Two-year college degree and/or two years management or restaurant industry experience.
  • Must be of legal age according to State regulations to serve alcohol.
  • Strong organizational and financial skills including knowledge of PC programs to support tasks relating to these skills.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety, food safety, and sanitation procedures and practices.
  • Any applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card required by city or local agencies.
