Job Description
Major responsibilities include:

Ensures high quality service to all guests by preparing all meals accurately and efficiently.

Responsible for approved safe operation and maintenance of all kitchen equipment.

Basic understanding of different chemical solution uses and proper labeling.
-
Understands/executes proper kitchen sanitation and safety procedures.
-
Communicates well with fellow teammates and Kitchen Manager. Demonstrates proper communication in a timely manner.

Works with BOH and FOH crews to ensure a remarkably clean and sanitary environment.

Supports, promotes, and practices all Flatbread policies and procedures.
-
Demonstrates the importance of the food cost, portion sizes, and proper temperatures. Follows all recipes.

Prepares quality products following exact company specifications from the BOH builds sheets and manuals.

Quality and consistency is a must.

Assists with putting away orders as a team including, but not limited to proper rotation, temperatures,
-
labeling or “Day Dot”, and storage of all products.

Exhibits respect for others with employees, vendors, and managers.

Responsible for knowing the proper station temperatures, set up/break down and maintaining a clean work area at all time following the proper sanitation methods.

Utilizes proper utensils at all time to eliminate cross contamination and adhere to proper flavor profile.

Ability to remain highly organized in a high volume environment.

Maintains a strong sense of urgency throughout the shift.

Proper hygiene and attire is required.
Requirements
-
High School diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum of 1 year of Line or Sauté experience required
-
Experience with quantity food preparation preferred
-
Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
-
Must have a Food Service Sanitation Certificate
